We will soon be announcing the dates for 'The Third Celebration of African Wildlife and Tribal Life' in Autumn 2009.
Enjoy a truly unique hosted safari experience on our third 'Celebration of African Wildlife & Tribal Life,' which promises to present an entertaining and informative way to appreciate the importance of conservation and the sheer excitement and exhilaration of being close to the wildlife in one of Kenya's great wildernesses.
The itinerary includes a four night stay at Little Governors' Camp, a luxury permanent tented camp in the heart of the Masai Mara, where the BBC stay when filming Big Cat Week; with the final night at Giraffe Manor, a unique conservation location. A maximum of 32 guests will be treated to a combination of talks, activities, game drives and master classesprovided by their respected wildlife experts and local Masai including:
BBC wildlife presenter - Jonathan Scott; BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2003 - Angela Scott; wildlife artist - Jonathan Truss; Masai Chief -Ben Kipena; published birder - Dave Richards; wildlife sculptor - Denis Matthews; Bushman - Patrick Reynolds and night sky expert Collin Welenski. Lead host, Jonathan Scott says, " I am delighted to be one of the six wildlife hosts looking after this group during such as amazing experience. It is a unique event, set in the best place in Kenya to see the big cats, which will take the understanding and observation of wildlife on safari to a new level. I'm really looking forward to introducing the guests to some of the animals we have filmed for Big Cat Week"
This safari experrince brings together such eminent people to ensure that any wildlife enthusiast on this trip will have the chance to spend time with the 'behind-the-scenes' wildlife experts rather just enjoying a safari from a 4x4 vehicle on several game drives a day.
